Star Council
The Chapter meeting on Nov. 18, 2023 in Auburn, our Past Grand Knight, Michael Meyers, was presented with the Star Council Award for the 2022-2023 Columbian Year. Mike took an active role in his year as Grand Knight leading our council in activities and programs that help to earn the award. Our Current State Deputy Greg Marracq, District Warden Gary Corrado, Past Grand Knight Michael Meyers and Past State Deputy Rene Trevino are pictured together.

Requirements
The Star Council Award recognizes outstanding achievement in membership, insurance and programming. In order to achieve the Star Council Award, a council must earn the Father McGivney, Founders’, and Columbian Awards. Additionally, the council must submit both the Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity (#1728) and Service Program Personnel Report (#365). In the United States and Canada councils must also be fully compliant with applicable safe environment requirements.
